Android App developed using Dublinked's Dublin Bus RTPI dataset

Dublinked would like to acknowledge Robert McEvoy, a final year student from DCU, on the development of the Android application ‘My Stop’. Robert explains that this app “enables users to streamline their public transport journey regarding time efficiency and choice of transport, in as few clicks as possible. The application achieves this by presenting real time dashboards for each of the available transport operators (Dublin Bus, Luas, Bus Eireann and Irish Rail) and a dashboard to display the user’s location as well as stop selections on a live map which includes the travel time to each stop and traffic dynamics”. See here for a detailed blog account of his progression with the app development.
